We are representing a global hyperscale Data Centre Operator in looknig for an Assistant Security Manager in supporting the Security Manager in delivering end-to-end physical security for live data centre operations and greenfield/brownfield projects. Protect critical infrastructure with zero operational disruption while ensuring compliance with global standards including TVRA, ISO 27001, and SOC 

Key Responsibilities
1. Physical Security Operations
- Oversee 24/7 security operations across live data centre facilities
- Manage multi-layered access control, CCTV, VMS, ACS, and intrusion detection systems
- Enforce visitor management, escort protocols, and maintain complete audit trails
- Lead incident response for breaches, tailgating, unauthorized access, and system alarms
- Conduct risk/vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure audit readiness
- Support business continuity and emergency command structure during incidents
- Manage vendor performance against mission-critical SLAs
2. Project Security Management
- Integrate “security by design” into construction workflows for new builds and expansions
- Coordinate with Project, Design, and General Contractor teams to segregate construction zones from live data halls
- Lead security system rollouts from design through FAT, SAT, and commissioning: Genetec, Lenel OnGuard, Milestone VMS, PIDS
- Conduct site security inspections, investigate theft/safety violations, and attend project meetings
- Validate as-built documentation, testing reports, and system handovers from project to operations
3. Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, SOC 2, TVRA, and local regulatory/licensing requirements
- Prepare for internal/external audits and drive closure of findings and corrective actions
- Maintain incident logs, compliance documentation, and audit records
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly security reports to senior management and clients
- Act as site security focal point in the Security Manager’s absence
4. Vendor & Guard Force Leadership
- Manage outsourced security providers, guard rostering, deployment, and KPI/SLA compliance
- Conduct drills, toolbox talks, and security briefings to uphold discipline and professionalism
- Enforce standards across all guards and contractors on site
5. Training & Stakeholder Engagement
- Run security awareness programs for staff, vendors, and contractors
- Train security personnel on data centre SOPs, incident response, and access enforcement
- Coordinate with IT, Facilities, Operations, EHS, and Project teams to align security objectives

Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s in Security Management, Criminology, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Experience: 5–10 years in security operations within data centres, critical infrastructure, or construction environments
- Technical: Strong knowledge of access control & CCTV systems, Genetec preferred; security risk management; construction site security
- Project Skills: Proven experience with security project management, system commissioning, and operational handovers
- Leadership: Demonstrated stakeholder management, reporting, and team leadership capabilities
- Critical environment security mindset with zero tolerance for breaches
- High integrity and compliance focus with strong attention to detail
- Risk anticipation and mitigation under pressure
