We are currently representing an established commercial consultancy looking for a business development. This role will support bid and business development activities by coordinating proposals, developing bid strategies, preparing marketing materials, and maintaining client databases to strengthen company positioning in securing tenders.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Bid Manager, Client Relations Director, and Contracts and Project team leads to develop bid strategies aligned with client requirements and company goals
- Coordinate incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs) by gathering information from relevant departments and ensuring timely, complete submissions
- Utilize approved AI and productivity tools to enhance research, proposal development, presentation preparation, and operational efficiency
- Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and business development documents using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
- Create and update company marketing content, including corporate presentations, EDMs, social media content, and promotional materials
- Maintain and update client database with accurate client profiles, project references, and marketing information
- Communicate professionally in written and spoken English to produce clear documentation and correspondence
- Apply a business-minded approach to support business development initiatives and contribute to company growth
- Manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in producing polished presentations and submissions
- Maintain composure and focus under pressure to deliver quality work consistently
- Act as a proactive, collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Participate in trade and social functions, demonstrating openness to new cultures and markets and contributing to a positive team environment
Key qualifications:
- Background in the construction and interior fit-out industry or project management experience
