Back to job search
We are representing an international real estate consultancy in hiring a rainmaker. You’ll drive investment sales across office, retail, industrial/logistics, hospitality and development sites with a $1M–$1B+ ticket size. Your job is simple: originate, structure, and close. We want a 10+ year operator who has lived through cycles, knows how to price risk, and still picks up the phone before 8am. Background from developers, real estate private funds, family offices or buy-side platforms is strongly preferred. If you’ve sourced off-market deals and can walk into a boardroom cold—we want to talk.
If you are successful, you will enjoy the following:
- Platform + Brand: International firm with best-in-class research, valuation, and debt advisory to support you.
- Autonomy: Run your book. No red tape. If you can source it and price it, we’ll back you to close it.
- Upside: Aggressive commission grid + deal bonuses.
- Deal flow: Existing mandates + warm intros, but we hire you for what you bring, not what we give you.
- Seat at the table: Direct access to leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a coverage plan targeting institutional owners, developers, REPE funds, REITs, family offices, and HNWIs. 60% of your time is client-facing.
- Run full-cycle transactions: valuation & underwriting, pitch materials, IMs, buyer management, bid analysis, SPA negotiation, close. You run point with legal, tax, and DD teams.
- Match discretionary and non-discretionary capital to assets. Maintain live relationships with active buyers and off-market capital. You know who has dry powder and what they want.
- Contribute to team P&L. Mentor juniors, instill a hustle culture, and bring best practice from funds/developers on deal process, data rooms, and buyer engagement.
- Be the first to know about recaps, non-performing assets, corporate carve-outs, and portfolio trades. Produce thought leadership and sharp pricing reads for clients.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years in real estate investment sales, acquisitions, or capital markets. Must have closed transactions end-to-end
- Proven track record: Minimum $500M cumulative transaction volume personally led. Please be ready to discuss deals you sourced and closed.
- Sourcing DNA: Rolodex of direct relationships with decision makers at developers, funds, REITs, and private capital. You’ve found deals that weren’t on the market.
- Buy-side fluency: If you’re from a developer or REPE fund, you understand how principals think—IC memos, return hurdles, structuring, tax, and exit. You can speak LP and GP.
- Hustler spirit: Self-starter who manufactures pipeline, not just farms it. You prospect, cold call, door knock, and move fast. Comfortable with discretionary comp and eating what you kill.
- Technical strength: Sharp on DCF, residual land value, development feasibilities, and capital stacks. You can defend pricing to a CIO and a founder.
- Execution muscle: Strong negotiation, documentation, and stakeholder management. You’ve taken deals through failed DD and still closed.
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related.
- MBA/CFA/MRICS/MRISM a plus, not a must.
- Licensed estate agent/valuer preferred; if not, willing to obtain.
