We’re representing an engineering consultancy which is looking for a Computational Modelling Engineer. If you are a technical person who loves to work in a fast paced environment, this will be a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop computational models and simulations for engineering systems using     industry-standard software and analytical tools.
- Perform numerical analyses including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD),   thermal analysis, airflow modelling, energy modelling, structural analysis, or   other specialised simulations, depending on project requirements.
- Evaluate engineering designs by analysing system performance, efficiency,     reliability, and operational risks.
- Prepare simulation reports, technical calculations, design recommendations,     and presentation materials for internal and client review.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients   to optimise engineering solutions.
- Validate computational models using field measurements, testing results, and      industry standards.
- Support design reviews, value engineering initiatives, and technical risk       assessments.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for engineering and     operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes, standards, and client     specifications.
- Contribute to research, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives by   evaluating emerging technologies and modelling methodologies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical     Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational   Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–8 years of experience in computational modelling, engineering simulation, or   design analysis.
- Proficiency in one or more simulation software packages such as ANSYS,   STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, COMSOL Multiphysics, IES VE, EnergyPlus,   MATLAB, Simulink, ETAP, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of numerical methods, finite element analysis (FEA),     computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or thermal and energy modelling.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and   design documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary   teams.
