Our client is a leading investment firm seeking to expand its private fund management operations in Japan. As part of this growth, they are hiring a Fund Manager (Senior Associate level) to take a lead role in managing a closed-end income-focused private fund, as well as contribute to the planning and potential launch of a new private income fund.

As Fund Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of income-focused private real estate funds. This includes developing portfolio strategies, conducting performance analyses, handling investor communications, and executing hold-sell evaluations. You will play a central role in managing relationships with global institutional investors and collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of private real estate income funds.
- Formulate and execute annual portfolio strategies and budgeting plans.
- Monitor and analyze fund performance; manage risk-return profiles of investments.
- Support hold-sell analysis and manage execution processes.
- Manage investor relations, including the planning of annual board meetings and reporting.
- Assist with open-end fund operations and broader platform management activities.
- Conduct English-language investor meetings, explain investment strategies, and manage Q&A.
- Provide property overviews in English during investor site tours.

Key Requirements 
Must Have:
3+ years of practical experience in real estate fund management.
- Hands-on experience with investor relations, asset acquisition/disposition, and portfolio strategy.
- Business-level English skills, capable of handling communications with overseas investors via email and written documentation.
Preferred:
Experience working for foreign firms or overseas.
- Involvement in fund raising or reporting targeted at global investors.
- Broader exposure to non-logistics asset classes and/or development-focused funds.
