We represent a leading Tier 1 Contractor with diverse ongoing projects and are seeking an ICT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop ICT strategies aligned with business objectives, oversee ICT & Operational Technology (OT) projects and operations, enhance ICT policies, implement robust cybersecurity measures, manage the ICT team, and liaise with senior management. This role requires staying current with technological advancements and managing budgets effectively, offering the opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency in a dynamic construction environment.
Key responsibility:
- Develop Corporate IT Strategies and Roadmap in alignment with the company’s business objectives
- Develop, enhance, or implement relevant policies, procedures and processes for Information and Operational Technology, Data Management and Information Security taking reference with best industry practices, such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, etc
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise stakeholders, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Oversee complex IT and OT projects from the initiation to the completion
- Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of all infrastructure components and business applications, and ensure proper and continuous support for them, including the end user trainings and direct hands-on supports
- Monitor and evaluate the high availability, reliability, and performance of deployed solutions, adjusting as necessary to ensure they continue to meet business requirements
- Develop, enhance, operationalize and maintain the IT and OT Disaster
- Recovery Plan and Incident Response Plan to support the Business Continuity
- Plan of Business Owners including their risk analysis and risk assessment to ensure the business process to align with the company information security policies and procedures
- Implement cybersecurity protection, measures, and systems to effectively protect the entire company against potential cyber threats or attacks
- Develop the IT team members and set suitable performance targets / objectives
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development to improve their performance and skill levels
- Work with internal stakeholders (such as end users, business owners and managers, senior managements, directors, etc) and understand their business objectives, process and requirements for ICT and OT solutions and the required level of Information Security measure
- Communicate with external stakeholders (such as authorities, etc) (TBC)
- Keep abreast of technological trends and advancements and recommend new technologies that could improve the Company's efficiency and effectiveness for the business process and productivity
- Assess the third-party vendors to ensure that vendors meet the company’s business requirements
- Ensure ICT related projects and operation are delivered on time and within the budget
- Evaluate the deliverables and the performance of vendors
- Develop and manage the ICT and OT budget, expenditures and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in technology spending
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Master’s Degree or relevant certificate (e.g. PMP, CSM, ITIL, CISSP, CISA) are plus
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience
- At least 5 years of managerial role
- Work experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Good understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and related standards for cybersecurity, project management and data management
Advanced level expertise in Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune, PIM and Conditional Access
- Good understanding of SASE, EDR and managing SOC/NOC is a plus
- Relevant technical experience in onsite support and project management
