An established real estate investment platform with a diversified portfolio across Asia is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and management of real estate investment opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Investments, the successful candidate will play a key role throughout the investment lifecycle, including deal origination, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, joint venture management, and portfolio monitoring. The role offers exposure to multiple asset classes and the opportunity to contribute to new investment strategies, including alternative living sectors such as co-living.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Origination & Evaluation
Identify and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across target markets and sectors.
Conduct market research, financial analysis, valuation assessments, and investment underwriting.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
Prepare investment recommendations and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
Transaction Execution
Coordinate due diligence activities with legal, financial, tax, technical, and commercial advisors.
Support the negotiation and execution of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
Manage transaction processes from initial assessment through completion.
Review and analyse transaction documentation and commercial terms.
Joint Venture & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain relationships with developers, operating partners, investors, brokers, and consultants.
Work closely with joint venture partners to monitor investment performance and business plans.
Support governance, reporting, and compliance requirements relating to investment partnerships.
Portfolio Management
Monitor the financial and operational performance of investments.
Evaluate asset-level performance and identify value creation opportunities.
Support asset management initiatives, capital expenditure reviews, and strategic portfolio decisions.
Prepare periodic investment and portfolio performance reports.
Market & Strategic Analysis
Assess market trends, investment themes, and emerging opportunities across the real estate sector.
Conduct research into new asset classes and alternative living sectors, including co-living.
Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in real estate investments, property development, investment management, private equity real estate, or related fields.
Proven experience participating in multiple real estate transactions and development projects across the investment lifecycle.
Strong understanding of real estate investment analysis, valuation methodologies, and financial modelling.
Experience working with joint venture structures and managing external investment partners.
Exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, logistics, or alternative living asset classes.
Experience or interest in co-living, serviced living, student accommodation, or related sectors would be advantageous.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a lean and entrepreneurial team environment.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded real estate investment professional with approximately 10 years of experience and a proven track record across investment evaluation, transaction execution, and partnership management. The candidate should possess strong financial and analytical capabilities, experience working with joint venture partners, and an interest in identifying new investment opportunities within evolving real estate sectors.
