Key Responsibilities
Materials Library Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the materials library, including the organisation, cataloguing, and inventory control of all material samples. Ensure accurate and timely updates of material records, maintaining a well-structured and efficient system.
Studio Operations & Client Experience
- Support client visits and presentations by maintaining a professional, well-curated materials showroom. Assist the design team in material selection presentations, providing clear explanations and ensuring a seamless, high-quality client experience.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. Conduct regular follow-ups on product updates, sample renewals, and ongoing collaboration matters to ensure the studio has access to the latest materials and innovations.
Sourcing & Vendor Development
- Proactively identify and onboard new suppliers and brands to expand the firm’s material library. Continuously enrich the range and diversity of materials available, enhancing the design team’s ability to deliver competitive and innovative project solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Passion for design materials, finishes, and emerging trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative environment
- Prior experience in design studios, architecture, interior design, or materials sourcing is advantageous
