Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to support the Head of Operations in overseeing Security & Building Services (SBS) for an office building, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and high service standards.
This would be great to gain exposure to both OPEX and CAPEX planning, including AEI projects, involving leadership with team and vendor management
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily SBS operations to ensure service levels and standards are achieved
- Lead and manage teams and service providers, ensuring performance and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with statutory, WSH, and safety regulations, including emergency response readiness
- Manage OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, tenders, and execution of maintenance, replacement, and AEI works
- Drive SOP improvements, preventive maintenance programmes, and stakeholder engagement (authorities, consultants, tenants)
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Building/Facilities Management or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in property/estate management
- Experience managing retail or office buildings, including security, carpark, and vendor contracts
- Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, building services, and safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and ability to interpret technical drawings.
