We’re representing a global hyperscale data centre operator expanding aggressively across Southeast Asia.  You’ll be the technical bridge between our M&E engineering excellence and the region’s most demanding cloud, AI, and enterprise customers.

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you’re the technical face of our business in SEA. You’ll own the solution from first customer whiteboard session through contract signature. You translate hyperscale requirements into buildable, bankable M&E solutions that win deals and de-risk delivery.

You’re not a post-sales PM. You’re the reason customers trust us before ground is broken.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Solutioning
- Lead technical discovery with hyperscale, cloud, and AI platform customers across SEA markets
- Architect end-to-end colocation solutions: power architecture, cooling strategy, redundancy levels, sustainability metrics, and operational models
- Own technical RFP responses, design workshops, and executive-level design reviews
- Balance customer requirements against CapEx, OpEx, PUE, WUE, and construction timelines
M&E Technical Authority
- Leverage your M&E background to challenge and optimize UPS topologies, generator schemes, chiller plants, liquid cooling, and electrical distribution down to rack level
- Drive site-specific risk assessments: utility constraints, seismic, flooding, local codes, and supply chain realities in SG, MY, ID, TH, VN, PH
- Partner with internal design & construction teams to ensure what we sell can be built, on time and on budget
Commercial & Regional Impact
- Develop TCO models and technical differentiators that help sales close multi-MW deals
- Educate customers on emerging SEA trends: AI-ready densities 50kW+/rack, direct-to-chip cooling, grid interaction, and carbon reporting
- Act as voice of the SEA customer back into product, design, and strategy teams
Support site selection diligence and customer tours of live and construction sites

Key Qualifications
Base Technical Foundation
- M&E engineering background required – Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- 7+ years in data centre design, construction, or critical facilities operations
- Deep hands-on knowledge of MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators,
- CRAC/CRAH, chillers, BMS, and EPMS
- Experience designing for Tier III/Tier IV, Uptime Institute, or TIA-942 standards
Presales & Commercial Acumen
- 3+ years in a presales, solutions architect, or customer-facing technical role within data centres, colo, or cloud
- Track record supporting >5MW deals with hyperscale or large enterprise customers
- Ability to create single-line diagrams, concept layouts, and technical narratives under RFP time pressure
- Strong financial literacy: you can speak MW, $/kW/month, PUE, and IRR in the same meeting
- Familiar with SEA power markets, utility engagement, and regulatory environments
- Whiteboard-to-boardroom communicator – you make 33kV switchgear make sense to a CFO
- Calm under fire during design challenges, outage post-mortems, or tough negotiations
- Bias for action. We’re building in markets where speed + precision wins
