We are exclusively working with a global hyperscale data centre operator in looking for a Project Director / Senior Project Manager. As our Project Director/ Senior Project Manager in Singapore, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data centre campuses that power the region’s largest cloud and tech customers. You’ll sit at the intersection of development strategy and execution — turning ambitious plans into safe, high-quality, on-time, and on-budget reality.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead multi-billion dollar hyperscale campus builds from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
- Partner with Development on site strategy, buildability, phasing, and speed-to-market to stay ahead of customer demand
- Build and scale elite project teams that execute under pressure and set the standard for the industry
- Safety: Champion company’s Global Minimum Standards for Safety. Drive behavioural safety culture and continuous improvement across all contractors and phases
- Quality: Deliver defect-free, hyperscale-grade infrastructure aligned to uptime, reliability, and customer SLAs. Embed digital QA/QC and commissioning readiness from day one
- Time: Own fast-track and phased delivery in a constrained Singapore market. Anticipate and mitigate risks around approvals, supply chain, and power availability
- Cost: Full capex accountability. Drive value engineering, manage commercial risk, and partner with Cost Management on budgets, claims, and variations — with an eye on lifecycle performance, not just build cost

Stakeholder & Regulatory Navigation
- Be the primary interface for clients, contractors, consultants, government agencies — BCA, URA, SCDF, EMA, IMDA — and utility providers for power, water, and telco
- Lead regulatory approvals strategy and execution to unlock schedule certainty
Build relationships that de-risk current projects and enable company's future pipeline

Infrastructure & Risk Strategy
- Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams on power availability, grid connection, and energy strategy to support capacity allocation and expansion
- Proactively manage risk across programme, cost, quality, and regulatory/infrastructure constraints

Commissioning & Customer Alignment
- Ensure seamless handover from construction to operations with full testing, commissioning, and client acceptance
- Align every milestone to customer requirements, commercial commitments, and long-term asset performance
- Support customer engagement during delivery and contribute to portfolio prioritisation and growth strategy

Sustainability & ESG
- Deliver to company’s sustainability targets — PUE optimisation, carbon reduction, Green Mark, and ESG compliance
- Integrate sustainability into design, procurement, and construction decisions
10+ years construction experience, with projects >30,000 m²

Key Requirements:
- You know how to run complex, large-scale builds
- 5+ years in Project Management leadership roles
- You can lead teams, not just tasks
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or Construction/Project Management
-Technical depth to engage with design, MEP, and delivery risk
- Fluent English, written and verbal
- You’ll be influencing across borders and functions
- Data centre or hyperscale/cloud provider experience in APAC
- You understand the standards, speed, and client expectations
- Exceptionally forward-thinking and flexible – You adapt fast when priorities shift and find a path through ambiguity
- Results-focused with a “get it done” mindset – You take ownership and drive outcomes without excuses
