We are working with a leading workplace design and build consultancy specialising in corporate interior design, workplace strategy, and end-to-end project delivery, helping organisations create engaging, productive, and future-ready work environments in their search for a Quantity Surveyors


Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full quantity surveying and commercial functions for workplace interior fit-out and design-and-build projects from pre-contract through to final account.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and project budgets during the tender and pre-construction stages.
- Lead tendering exercises, evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and recommend contract awards.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve commercially favourable outcomes.
- Manage procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing and appointment of subcontractors and vendors in line with project schedules.
- Administer contracts, including variation orders, extension of time (EOT) assessments, progress claims, payment certifications, and final account -negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, forecasts, and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Work closely with Design, Project Management, and Construction teams to provide commercial support and ensure alignment between project delivery and -budget objectives.
- Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality, functionality, or design intent.
- Maintain accurate commercial documentation, prepare financial reports, and provide regular updates to management on project performance.

Key Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably within an interior fit-out, design-and-build, or commercial construction environment.
- Proven experience managing workplace, office, commercial, or corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, contract administration, -variation management, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract and local construction practices in Singapore.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify project risks and implement cost optimisation strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD (preferred), and quantity surveying or ERP software.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
