We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Building Management System (BMS) Manager to join the operations team. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be a key leader in establishing, maintaining, and optimizing the critical infrastructure systems for both new and existing data center setups. This role demands a deep technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, fire, and security systems, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. You will be accountable for supporting capacity loading, asset management, maintenance management, and ensuring robust risk management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence & Maintenance:

  • Ensure the effective operation of work order maintenance systems for electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems, proactively minimizing breakdowns.

  • Provide strategic guidance on preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance strategies through data-driven analytical approaches.

  • Monitor benchmarks and performance indicators to consistently achieve and sustain high maintenance levels.

- BMS/CCCS Leadership:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and logic validation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Centralized Control & Command Systems (CCCS), ensuring full compliance with stringent data center performance requirements.

  • Review and approve control sequences, setpoints, and system behaviors to guarantee safe, optimal, and energy-efficient operations.

  • Drive initiatives focused on enhancing the reliability, efficiency, automation, and monitoring visibility of all BMS/CCCS.

  • Manage system upgrades, firmware updates, and lifecycle replacements to maintain peak reliability and compliance standards.

  • Ensure all BMS/CCCS systems adhere to rigorous Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity standards, network segmentation policies, and audit requirements.

- Capacity & Analytics:

  • Develop and manage real-time dashboard platforms for monitoring capacity loading, ensuring all maintenance regimes and activities align with contractual agreements.

  • Explore and implement AI technology to support the critical facility team in developing advanced predictive and preventive maintenance strategies for infrastructure equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Foundation: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Industry Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience specifically within the data center industry.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

  • Familiarity with fire and security systems within critical environments.

  • Proficient with BMS platforms, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft BI.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Excellent skills in problem-solving and conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex issues.

  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to articulate and explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
