We are working with a Singapore-based interior design and fit-out consultancy specializing in customized workplace environments and commercial spaces, in their search for a Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven experience in commercial office renovation projects..
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, source, and develop new business opportunities within the interior design and fit-out market (hunter role).
- Conduct cold calling, networking, site visits, and client meetings to generate leads and build sales pipeline.
- Understand client requirements, project scope, budget, and timelines, and coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals and quotations.
- Follow up closely on leads, negotiations, and closing of sales deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, main contractors, and developers.
- Track sales activities, update CRM / sales reports, and provide regular pipeline updates.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions as required.
- Support management with market intelligence, competitor analysis, and potential business opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales / business development experience, preferably in interior design, fit-out, construction, renovation, or related industries.
- Proven hunter sales mindset with strong ability to generate leads independently.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face client engagement.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of interior fit-out works and project workflows is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office
