We are collaborating with a design-led interior architecture studio recognized for its meticulous craftsmanship and timeless approach to luxury interiors. With a portfolio spanning high-end residences, commercial developments, and hospitality spaces, the studio is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join its Singapore team.
This is a key technical leadership role responsible for overseeing the production, coordination, quality control, and delivery of construction documentation across a portfolio of high-end hospitality and luxury residential projects throughout Asia.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Design Directors, Interior Designers, Technical Designers, Consultants, and External Drafting Teams to ensure design intent is translated into highly coordinated, accurate, and buildable drawing packages.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and coordination of detailed design and construction documentation packages.
- Produce and review plans, elevations, sections, details, joinery drawings, and bespoke design documentation.
- Ensure drawings are technically accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
- Develop comprehensive drawing sets suitable for tender and construction stages.
- Translate conceptual design intent into buildable technical solutions while maintaining design integrity.
- Establish and maintain drawing standards, templates, and documentation procedures.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and technical audits of drawing packages.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all project documentation complies with local authority requirements, building regulations, and industry standards.
- Support project teams from concept design through construction stages.
- Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and coordination meetings.
Key qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in CAD drafting and technical documentation within interior design or architectural practices.
- Strong experience delivering luxury hospitality, high-end residential, mixed-use, or premium commercial projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience working on luxury hospitality projects, branded residences, hotels, or ultra-high-end residential developments.
- Knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with projects across Asia and regional construction practices.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, joinery, interior architecture, and building systems.
- Proven experience managing and coordinating outsourced drafting teams.
- Excellent technical problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
