We are supporting a global project management consultancy in the delivery of a major greenfield campus in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of planning and scheduling on a mission-critical programme, working at the forefront of large-scale digital infrastructure delivery.
As Planning Manager, you will lead all project planning and scheduling activities, partnering closely with general contractors, field teams, and client stakeholders to drive schedule certainty, sequencing optimisation, and successful project outcomes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
This is a highly visible role requiring a field-focused, analytical, and proactive leader who can influence delivery, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment with global scheduling standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Schedule Development
- Lead the development of detailed, fully integrated project schedules in collaboration with project teams, general contractors, and trade partners
- Coordinate scheduling across CSA, MEP, start-up, turnover, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) activities
- Ensure clear alignment between construction completion, commissioning strategy, and operational readiness
Schedule Governance & Performance Management
- Validate contractor schedules, updates, and narratives to ensure compliance with project and client standards
- Analyse schedule performance including float consumption, productivity trends, resource loading, and change impacts
- Establish and enhance progress measurement and reporting processes to ensure accurate, real-time project visibility
- Provide data-driven forecasting and milestone confidence assessments
Risk Identification & Mitigation
- Proactively identify sequencing conflicts, interface risks, and workface constraints
- Challenge assumptions related to productivity, sequencing, and recovery strategies to ensure realistic execution plans
- Lead schedule recovery workshops, driving actionable mitigation and acceleration strategies
- Perform forensic delay analysis and clearly articulate cause-and-effect relationships
Stakeholder & Field Engagement
- Act as a key interface between site teams, contractors, and client stakeholders on all planning matters
- Communicate schedule impacts, risks, and changes clearly and effectively at all levels
- Support field execution teams in resolving schedule challenges and maintaining delivery momentum
- Foster a “One Team, One Objective” culture focused on accountability, transparency, and collaboration
Change & Contract Management
- Assess impacts of design changes, RFIs, and change orders on project schedules
- Ensure alignment with contractual scheduling requirements and proactively flag deviations
- Support claims analysis and provide schedule input for commercial discussions
Reporting & Governance
- Contribute to project reviews and executive reporting with clear, insight-driven schedule analysis
- Provide guidance on schedule development, modification, and presentation across project teams
- Support estimating and preconstruction activities with schedule reviews as required
Key Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 10–15+ years’ experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale construction projects
- Proven experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, or complex infrastructure projects
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling tools)
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning integration, and project lifecycle dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex schedule data and performance metrics
- Strong knowledge of contractual frameworks and delay analysis methodologies
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on hyperscale data centre projects
- Familiarity with Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and commissioning workflows
- Experience in Singapore or Southeast Asia markets
- Exposure to global project standards and master scheduling frameworks
- Highly analytical with a strong data-driven mindset
- Confident in challenging stakeholders and driving accountability
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
