We are representing a leading developer and operator of hyperscale internet infrastructure headquartered in Singapore, with a fast-growing footprint across Asia—including China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager, and you will own end-to-end delivery of large-scale, greenfield data centre developments—from early due diligence and concept design through construction, testing, commissioning, and smooth handover to operations. Acting as the owner’s technical and delivery authority, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver safely, on time, to spec, and within budget in complex, mission-critical environments.

If you are successful in this role, you will enjoy the following:
- A regional platform with scale, a robust pipeline, and clear growth paths across countries and functions
- A culture that values safety, integrity, and every voice in the room.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Own the full lifecycle: due diligence, concept, detailed design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for quality, safety, schedule, cost, and risk.
- Set clear governance, execution strategies, and delivery plans aligned to business and regional standards.
Design & Technical Oversight
- Direct multi-disciplinary design teams (electrical, mechanical, CSA, fire, controls) to meet resilience and operability goals.
- Challenge assumptions and value-engineer solutions for long-term performance and lifecycle value.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international codes, internal design standards, and customer requirements.
Construction & Site Execution
- Oversee EPCs, trade contractors, and specialist vendors to ensure adherence to approved designs and methods.
- Champion a strong safety culture and HSE compliance on site.
Monitor progress, resolve technical and interface issues, and manage sequencing across workstreams.
Commercial, Contract & Risk
- Manage budgets, cost plans, cash flow, and change control across the lifecycle.
- Lead contract administration—claims, variations, extensions of time, and commercial negotiations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks with timely escalation and resolution.
Commissioning & Handover
- Drive integrated testing and commissioning (FAT, SAT, IST) in coordination with customers, operations, and vendors.
- Ensure readiness for service and a structured handover: as-builts, O&M manuals, asset registers, training, and warranty close-out.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Mentor junior managers, provide technical guidance, and foster a high-performance team culture.
- Report clearly and regularly to senior management on status, risks, and key decisions.

Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 10–15 years delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure, with a strong track record in greenfield developments—preferably data centres or similarly high-reliability environments.
- Proven owner-side project management across the full lifecycle, including integrated testing & commissioning with hyperscale or enterprise customers.
- Deep knowledge of data centre electrical or mechanical systems, redundancy concepts, and operational performance.
- Strong grasp of construction methodologies, project controls, and interface management.
- High commercial, contractual, and risk-management capability; calm, analytical problem-solving under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project; familiar with AutoCAD, BIM, and digital delivery tools.
- Bonus: CDCP, CDCMP, or similar data centre certifications.
