Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team in supporting construction on all design matters, including the review and production of shop drawings
- Work closely with appointed consultants and the construction team on designs and deliverables to improve site efficiency and constructability
- Lead the design approval process with authorities such as URA, BCA, LTA, and PUB, resolving technical issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate closely with the in-house BIM team and other disciplines, such as architectural and MEP, to ensure high-quality design outcomes
- Identify potential risks or issues affecting project performance and present design progress updates to management, the project team, and clients
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineering Board
- Minimum 12 years of design experience, or 7 years of design management experience with at least 5 years of design experience
- Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across disciplines
- Experience managing design approvals with regulatory authorities and agencies
- Good communication and presentation skills for engaging management, project teams, and clients
