We are working with a leading engineering and project delivery firm providing end-to-end design, advisory, construction and facility management solutions for complex technical and commercial building projects across Asia, including data centres, laboratories, clean rooms and other specialised facilities in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyors. 


Key Responsibilities 
- Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimates and budgets for architectural and building works.
- Manage tender processes including tender documentation, bid evaluation, commercial comparison and recommendations.
- Provide cost advice during design development, including value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Administer building contracts, including assessment of variations, progress claims, final accounts and contract compliance.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasts and cash flow, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Evaluate and advise on contractual risks, claims and disputes, working closely with project managers and consultants.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to manage scope changes and cost impacts effectively.
- Prepare regular cost reports and financial summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support project close-out activities, including final account settlement and post-project cost analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior QS team members, ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables.


Key Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying with a strong focus on architectural and building works.
- Proven track record in cost planning, tendering, contract administration and commercial management for medium to large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with Singapore standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA) and good knowledge of construction law and practices.
- Strong understanding of architectural construction details, materials, finishes and construction methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and cost management tools; BIM-based measurement experience is an advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
