We are partnering with an integrated workspace design and build firm that specialises in creating exceptional, human-centric work environments through innovative design, sustainable practices, and technology-driven solutions. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities 
- Lead new business acquisition efforts for commercial interior design and build-fit out projects, from lead generation through to contract award.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to target key segments including corporate offices, tech companies, regional headquarters, coworking spaces and large-scale fit-out clients.
- Identify market opportunities, track industry trends and compile competitive intelligence to shape business priorities and positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Real Estate/Workplace, procurement leads) and widen the company’s network of developer/contractor/architect partners.
- Prepare persuasive proposals, sales presentations and pitch materials aligned with client needs and value proposition; lead client meetings and negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with the internal design, operations and project teams to ensure hand-off from sales to delivery is seamless and client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Forecast pipeline metrics (leads, proposals, wins, revenue) and report regularly to leadership; own and deliver sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and conferences to raise brand visibility and source new opportunities.
- Travel within Singapore and occasionally within the APAC region as needed.

Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in commercial interior design, workplace fit-out, design & build, or related built-environment services.
- Proven track record of winning mid-to-large scale interior design/build contracts and generating meaningful revenue.
- Strong network within real estate, property management, architecture & design, and workplace solutions ecosystem in Singapore/SE Asia.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills – able to build credibility quickly and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen: ability to assess opportunity viability, set pricing logic, and manage cycles from lead to close.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, high energy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Architecture/Interior Design, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales pipelines and forecasting. Travel availability when required.
