We are working with a specialist solutions provider operating within the built environment sector, supporting projects across commercial, workplace, and interior fit-out developments. The team is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Singapore office and support cost management across ongoing and upcoming projects.
This role is suited to a QS with 3–7 years of experience who is comfortable working closely with project, design, and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost control, procurement support, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
– Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets across project stages
– Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis based on drawings and specifications
– Manage tender processes, including issuing RFQs, evaluating bids, and preparing tender reports
– Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow throughout project lifecycle
– Assess contractor claims, progress payments, and final accounts
– Work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to ensure cost alignment
– Support value engineering exercises to optimise cost without compromising quality or design intent
– Prepare regular cost reports and financial updates for internal and client stakeholders
– Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
Key Requirements
– 3–7 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial roles
– Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline
– Experience in interior fit-out, commercial, or workplace projects is preferred
– Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement, and contract administration
– Proficiency in Excel and cost management tools; ability to read and interpret drawings
– Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
– Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
– Detail-oriented, organised, and commercially minded
– Open to Singapore Citizens, PRs
