We are working with a regional construction and fit-out specialist delivering design-and-build, interior fit-out, refurbishment, and construction projects across commercial, hospitality, industrial, and mission-critical sectors in their search for a Quantity Surveyor.
This role will support the commercial and cost management aspects of multiple construction and fit-out projects. The role will involve cost planning, tendering, contract administration, and financial control from project inception through to final account.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Evaluate tenders, conduct tender interviews, and prepare tender reports.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance against budgets.
- Assist in contract administration, including claims, change management, and risk control.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure commercial alignment.
- Prepare regular cost reports and commercial updates for management.
Key requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 3–8 years of QS experience in building construction, interior fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and QS-related tools/software.
