This is a pivotal leadership role requiring creative excellence, strong business acumen, and proven experience running complex design projects and teams. You will be responsible for shaping the studio’s creative vision while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide overall creative direction for workplace and commercial interior design projects
– Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, ensuring design excellence and alignment with client objectives
– Oversee all stages of the design process — from concept strategy through to delivery and handover
– Represent the studio in front of clients, leading workshops, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
– Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for future projects
– Partner with senior leadership to set business strategy, drive revenue growth, and ensure operational efficiency
– Maintain quality control across all deliverables, balancing creativity with technical and commercial considerations
– Mentor senior and junior designers to raise overall studio capability and design output
– Stay informed of workplace trends, sustainability principles, and design innovations to keep the studio at the forefront of the market

Key Requirements:

– 12–20 years of professional experience in workplace or commercial interior design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
– Proven experience running a studio, project teams, or large-scale design programmes in Singapore or the region
– Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to secure repeat business and drive pitch conversion
– Strong conceptual design ability combined with rigorous delivery and documentation expertise
– Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with 3D tools a plus
– Strong understanding of commercial project budgets, programmes, and operational requirements
– Confident communicator who can balance creative leadership with business performance
– Full working rights in Singapore; regional project experience is highly advantageous
