We are working with a boutique design practice recognised for its thoughtful and contextually responsive approach to institutional and civic architecture. With a diverse portfolio spanning schools, universities, cultural buildings, and community projects, the studio is seeking a Mid–Senior Architect to join its Singapore team.

This position is ideal for an architect who combines design sensibility with strong technical knowledge, thrives in complex stakeholder environments, and brings experience in delivering institutional-scale buildings from design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and contribute to the design and documentation of institutional, cultural, and civic projects
– Prepare detailed drawings, technical documentation, and authority submissions for medium- to large-scale projects
– Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive and buildable outcomes
– Assist in site supervision and problem-solving during construction phases
– Ensure design intent, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards are met across all stages
– Collaborate with senior leadership while mentoring junior team members within the studio
– Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, articulating design solutions clearly and persuasively

Key Requirements

– 6–12 years of professional architectural experience, with a strong portfolio of institutional, civic, or cultural projects
– Degree in Architecture; professional registration is an advantage
– Proven ability to manage design and documentation packages for complex buildings
– Proficiency in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; BIM coordination skills preferred
– Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and building systems
– Familiarity with Singapore building codes, authority processes, and institutional project requirements
– Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across disciplines
– Full working rights in Singapore
