We are currently partnering with a specialized construction and engineering firm that delivers end-to-end turnkey project solutions across Asia, including consulting, design, construction, project management, and facility management services for technical and commercial buildings. They are presently seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design for projects including ACMV, ventilation, chilled water, process cooling, clean room HVAC, lab exhaust systems, and data centre cooling
- Develop concept, schematic, detailed, and construction-ready designs
- Perform heat load calculations, airflow analysis, equipment selection, and system sizing
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and authority requirements
- Act as the mechanical design lead on assigned projects
- Review and coordinate designs with electrical, architectural, and structural teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Support design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments
- Translate client operational needs into practical, compliant mechanical solutions
- Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and design discussions
- Support tender submissions, technical clarifications, and proposal development
- Provide engineering support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
- Resolve site technical issues and ensure design intent is maintained

Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years relevant mechanical design experience
- Strong background in clean room, lab, data centre, agritech, or commercial projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
