We are representing a Hyperscale Datacenter Operator in seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-availability network architectures for our data centers and critical facilities. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in network engineering, security, and troubleshooting, with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network upgrades, expansions, and high-availability architectures (e.g., spine-leaf) for data centers and critical facilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, SAN, and structured cabling (OSP and ISP)
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools
- Ensure network security by managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and enforcing security policies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, respond to security incidents, and provide root cause analysis and long-term fixes
- Collaborate with IT, operations, vendors, and service providers for support and project execution
- Maintain up-to-date network documentation, performance reports, and inventory
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance activities
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (DC), JNCIE-DC, or equivalent certifications
- ITIL and cybersecurity-related certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 3 years in data center or critical facility experience
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, STP, MPLS, VPN, and experience with enterprise routing/switching, firewall management, and DCI technologies
- Experience with structured cabling (fiber/copper), OSP/ISP cabling, and cable management
- Familiarity with virtualization, storage networking, and hybrid connectivity is desirable
- Proactive, accountable, and self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within tight SLAs in a critical facility 24/7 environment
Team player with leadership qualities and the ability to guide junior engineers
Project management and vendor coordination skills are desirable
