We are representing a leading organisation in the APAC region to hire an experienced Senior Executive, Cost & Contract to support upcoming data centre projects. This role will work closely with the Cost & Control Manager to ensure cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures for construction contracts and consultancy agreements.
- Advise project teams on contract matters, procurement strategies, tendering procedures, market trends, and value engineering.
- Liaise with and manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain cost databases, prepare cost reports, and identify opportunities for savings.
- Execute procurement for provisional sum items.
- Provide cost inputs for feasibility studies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safekeep all contract and project documentation.
Key Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor; data centre industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Management or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of building services and data centre project lifecycles.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages an advantage.
- Independent, meticulous, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
