We are representing a leading full-suite interior design practice with a strong regional presence, specializing in commercial properties across Asia Pacific. Renowned for delivering innovative workplace solutions that foster creativity and enhance productivity, the firm is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Singapore team.


Key responsibilities:
  • Manage cost planning, estimation, and budget control throughout all phases of high-value commercial interior projects.
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities; lead tender evaluation and negotiation processes.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and ensure cost-effective procurement and sourcing of materials, with attention to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on cost performance, cash flow, and financial forecasts to support project delivery.
  • Work alongside design, project management, and consultancy teams to optimize value, monitor variations, and handle contractual claims and disputes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, BCA requirements, and company quality assurance guidelines.
  • Engage proactively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, drive stakeholder confidence, and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Mentor and support junior QS team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
Key qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in quantity surveying within commercial interior or construction sectors, preferably with design & build projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cost management, contracts administration, and procurement processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills, with a commitment to delivering optimal functionality and value.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Prior BCA project experience and exposure to Green Mark/eco-friendly projects is an advantage
