We are working with a hiring partner to seek for a visionary and dynamic Director of Destination Experience to spearhead the development and delivery of a world-class lifestyle and hospitality destination in Batam, Indonesia. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping a landmark waterfront project that combines luxury living, tourism, retail, and entertainment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and implement destination experience strategies across hospitality, retail, recreation, and cultural engagement.
- Curate diverse lifestyle offerings, including sports, adventure, wellness, arts, and community programs.
- Collaborate on concept development, master planning, and feasibility for large-scale leisure initiatives.
- Forge partnerships with schools, corporates, and social groups to drive impactful engagement.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to execute immersive guest experiences and brand-defining moments.
- Ensure commercial outcomes while enhancing the overall positioning of Opus Bay.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Recreation Management, Business, or Destination Development.
- 10+ years of experience in hospitality, resort, or tourism development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in destination creation across sports, culture, community, and lifestyle programming.
- Strong expertise in concept development, master planning, and feasibility analysis for integrated resorts or leisure projects.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
