We are currently representing a Tier 1 Contractor with a diversity of Projects ongoing, and we are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our team. The M&E Engineer will oversee and ensure the quality, progress, and safety of mechanical and electrical works on site. This includes controlling site progress, conducting quality inspections, managing variation orders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure site progress and installation quality meet approved standards and schedules
- Conduct quality inspections and appraise works/products compliance to specifications and requirements
- Coordinate and produce high-quality M&E drawings, including CSD and individual service drawings
- Conduct QA/QC inspections, manage RE and RTO, and clear QA/QC inspections to meet construction schedules
- Maintain up-to-date site inspection records and T&C records
- Manage variation orders, including cost collection, verification, and price recommendations
- Evaluate and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for progress payments
- Ensure site implementation of safety standards and attend daily site coordination meetings
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades
- Knowledge of local codes and regulations pertaining to M&E services, building construction, and safety
- Time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly
