We are working with a global DC Operator in seeking an experienced Director, Design & Engineering to lead our APAC team in designing and delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable data center solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical power management, building management systems, and HVAC control systems, with a strong track record of managing complex design projects.


Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data center design to meet reliability, availability, efficiency, and sustainability benchmarks
- Develop standardized BMS templates and integrate with tenant power utilization data
- Design and debug HVAC control systems, including comprehensive control system design documents
- Provide pre-sales support, including client communication, technical discourse, and proposal generation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and international best practices

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Control, Computer Science, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in weak electrical system design, with a focus on data center design
- Advanced expertise in at least two BMS or EPMS, preferably Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation
- Proficiency in system integration, IP networks, Windows server systems, and querying devices using open protocols
- Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, design, and debugging
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL and web services
- Familiarity with PUE and WUE calculations
- Knowledge of prevailing regulations governing electrical design and installation in intelligent buildings
