We are currently representing a distinguished boutique real estate investment and asset management firm, with a focused strategy on value-oriented investments across Asia Pacific. Backed by a team with deep institutional experience and a successful track record, the firm has executed over US$2.5 billion in transactions across the region, spanning various real estate asset classes. As it continues to grow and actively manage its portfolio, the firm is seeking a highly capable and driven Investment and Asset Management Manager ( Mid - Senior level) to join its team and play a key role in capital deployment, asset performance, and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting, due diligence, and execution of new real estate investment opportunities across asset classes.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models and investment memos to support acquisition and asset management decisions.
- Manage end-to-end investment processes, including deal sourcing, structuring, negotiations, and closing.
- Oversee asset management strategies to drive value creation across the firm’s portfolio.
- Monitor asset performance, market conditions, and business plans, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and investors.
- Engage with brokers, partners, consultants, and other market participants to stay informed on market trends and identify pipeline opportunities.
- Work closely with internal functions including finance, legal, and compliance to ensure seamless execution and risk mitigation.
- Assist in capital raising and investor reporting activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or private equity, with strong exposure to the Japanese market.
- Deep knowledge of real estate valuation, structuring, and asset optimisation.
- Demonstrated track record in leading real estate transactions and managing assets through their full lifecycle.
- Native-level Japanese and professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
