We are representing a leading real estate investment and development group with a strong portfolio of retail assets. They are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the full spectrum of M&E operations and asset enhancement initiatives across their shopping mall properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement preventive maintenance programmes for all M&E systems.
- Manage procurement of service contracts and coordinate with service providers on rectification works and technical services.
- Oversee M&E upgrading projects, ensuring proper planning, control, and monitoring of operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building safety requirements, and industry accreditations.
- Propose, plan, and manage capital projects, asset enhancements, and tenant fit-out works.
- Support budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and provide variance analysis for management reporting.
- Lead and supervise a team of executives and technicians, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in M&E building systems within retail malls.
- Strong knowledge in tenant management, technical services, and building maintenance.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems and SAP preferred.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills with the ability to manage operations and projects simultaneously.
