Our client, a leading property developer, is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to oversee the M&E operations of a Grade A commercial asset. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical know-how, proven leadership, and the ability to manage both in-house teams and external vendors while ensuring excellent tenant service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead M&E team in routine maintenance, repair, and replacement works.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive/corrective maintenance for ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, and BMS systems.
- Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with scope, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Review drawings/plans for tenant works and oversee fit-out/reinstatement to building standards.
- Manage procurement, reports, and documentation for building operations.
- Respond to emergencies, tenant feedback, and service requests promptly.
- Support M&E upgrading projects and implement cost-control measures.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Fire Safety Manager certification an advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience in building/facilities management.
- Proven leadership of teams (5–10 members).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
