We are representing a leading property developer with strong presence in Singapore, seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of a prime commercial development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of in-house Technicians to ensure smooth daily building M&E operations and repair services.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs across building systems (M&E, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, security) to ensure optimal performance.
- Serve as the appointed Fire Safety Manager – oversee fire safety compliance, implement prevention measures, conduct inspections, and manage fire emergency plans and drills.
- Drive adherence to all safety, health, security, and environmental regulations while fostering a safe workplace.
- Oversee A&A, subdivision, reinstatement, and fit-out works to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Champion sustainability initiatives to optimise resource use, achieve cost savings, and align with Green Mark standards.
- Manage operational and CAPEX budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor KPIs, track maintenance works, and prepare performance reports for management review.
Key Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Building, Facilities Management, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in facilities or property management within the commercial real estate sector.
- Sound knowledge of local regulatory requirements and codes (BCA, BMSMA, SCDF, WSH).
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC (chillers & airside systems), plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be advantageous.
