Our client is a publicly listed financial institution with a resilient portfolio in Singapore.
This role is suitable for candidates who are looking to grow their careers further in the space. Candidates who previously are working on other asset classes (i.e retail, office, healthcare) will be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make cold calls and establish contacts with prospective tenants.
- Attend to all leasing enquiries, conduct viewings and follow up to bring these prospective tenants to secure new leases.
- Secure new tenancies, renew existing leases, identify market segments and prospects and liaise with property agents, where necessary.
- Negotiating leases for new leases and renewals favourably.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective tenants.
- Complete the marketing and lease documentation process up to signing of Tenancy Agreement.
- To build on Tenant Relations and to liaise with Tenants on any matters relating to their lease in the property.
- Prepare approval papers for confirmed offers and/or lease variations, ensuring accuracy in capturing lease details for owner’s approvals.
- Process letter offers, lease agreements, and other lease documentation, including variation letters.
- Liaise with internal and external legal counsel on amendments or variations to lease contracts, as required.
- Work closely with internal departments to follow up and resolve lease-related matters.
- Communicate with tenants on lease matters and support the development of good tenant relationships.
- Coordinate with the Finance team on arrears management and assist in following up on outstanding payments.
- Support the review and improvement of lease management processes and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Possess a Degree/Diploma in Real Estate Management, Marketing, Business Administration (Marketing) or equivalent.
- CEA Registration/Real Estate Degree or Diploma will be required.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics management, logistics operations and business development. Strong negotiation skills are essential.
- Able to be a team player yet work independently as required on ad-hoc assignments.
- Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
