We are representing a well-regarded interior design consultancy, originally founded in Singapore, that specializes in creating bespoke spaces across commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential sectors. The firm is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for their Malaysia branch.
Key responsibilities
- Lead generation and client acquisition - identify prospects, schedule meetings, and pitch company services to generate new business opportunities.
- Proposal and Tender management - Prepare and coordinate RFPs, quotations, and tender submissions with internal teams.
- Client servicing and relationship buildings - Maintain regular communication with with clients throughout project lifecycles to ensure satisfactions and repeated business.
- Internal coordination - work closely with designs, QS, and project teams to ensure accurate information flow and successful project delivery.
Key qualifications:
- 8+ years' experience in commercial office fit-out business development
- Sales and target-driven, with strong networks and leadership skills
- Fluent in English (Mandarin a plus), thrives in dynamic environments
- Established network within the commercial office design director
- Self-starter, adaptable, and able to thrive in dynamic environments
