We're representing an established architectural consultancy operating in the new economy asset sector and we're looking for a detail-oriented Book Keeping Accountant to join our team and help us manage our financials with precision.
We're seeking a highly organized and experienced Book Keeping Accountant to oversee our financial record-keeping, manage billings, and ensure timely payments. As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and providing critical financial insights to support our business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Process and pay invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing and payment for services rendered
- Implement and maintain financial controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Key Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a consultancy or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with project managers and finance team
