We are partnering with a reputable property developer to identify an experienced professional to lead their building operations and facilities management function. The successful candidate will oversee a team of Executives and manage various outsourced service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of a premium commercial asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Executives in managing all aspects of building operations and maintenance.
- Oversee the performance of vendors and ensure all contractual obligations are met with high service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of building facilities and M&E systems, follow up on rectification works, and propose improvement initiatives.
- Prepare management reports, conduct contract reviews, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Manage the tendering process — including preparation, evaluation, and award of quotations and tenders for maintenance, repair, and replacement works.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with Green Mark standards.
- Plan and conduct fire evacuation drills, tabletop exercises, and other emergency response activities in compliance with SCDF regulations.
- Prepare and manage annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary licenses and certifications, ensuring all documentation is properly maintained.
- Build strong relationships with tenants and manage all tenancy-related matters such as fit-out, renovation, reinstatement, and feedback.
- Support management in any other operational duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Building Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
- A strong team player who can also work independently.
- Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) qualification will be an advantage.
