We are working with an award-winning workplace strategy and design firm that creates innovative office spaces that boost creativity, collaboration, and business performance through tailored solutions encompassing workplace strategy, design consultancy, design & build services, and change management across Asia based in Singapore in their search for a business development manager
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with our goal of boosting creativity, collaboration, and business performance through tailored workplace solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate office design sector across Asia
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region
- Promote Paperspace Asia's comprehensive services, including workplace strategy, design consultancy, design & build services, and change management
- Collaborate with our workplace strategists and interior designers to create compelling proposals and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for all parties
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics
Key qualifications:
- Possess designers background
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the architecture, design, or corporate real estate sectors
- Strong understanding of workplace design trends and their impact on business performance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with C-level executives
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies across multiple Asian markets
- Proficiency in CRM tools and other business development software
- Willingness to travel across Asia as needed
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
