We're currently working exclusively with a hyper-scaler data center operator in seeking an exceptional design and development leader to spearhead our design management efforts across North Asia. As Head of Design and Development Management, you'll oversee the development and implementation of design standards, processes, and best practices for our hyper-scaler data centers. Your expertise will drive innovation, efficiency, and consistency in our data center design, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and processes for data centre design, construction, and operations across North Asia
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data centre designs that meet business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and integrate these into our design approach
- Manage design budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and design excellence within the design team
- Develop and implement design metrics, benchmarks, and reporting to measure design performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure design solutions meet hyper scaler requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in data center design, construction, or operations, with 5-7 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering complex data center design projects in North Asia
- Strong understanding of hyper-scaler data center design requirements, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in design metrics and benchmarking
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking principles
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations
