We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant Manager to support sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration for development and operational projects across the life sciences and real estate portfolio. This role plays a vital part in ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery across procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to contract award
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost competitiveness
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve optimal commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with project, construction, and operations teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods/services
- Monitor supplier performance, manage disputes, and ensure adherence to agreed specifications and timelines
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
- Support tendering activities, including preparation of bid documents, evaluation, and recommendations
- Ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or related industries
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier evaluation, and tender processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with procurement systems/software
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
