We are currently representing an established fit-out builder, dedicated to creating innovative and functional spaces that enhance the clients' productivity and well-being. We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join the team, and help scale the business to next level
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets and enhance market share.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within the commercial sector, especially with end clients across office, hospitality, institutional and the aviation industry amongst others
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s services and establish new contacts.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
-Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of commercial interior design trends and client needs.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
