We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team at a leading real estate solutions provider in Singapore. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various high-profile construction projects from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and internal teams
- Manage risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee site operations and coordinate with site managers and construction teams
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients
- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green technologies
- Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED AP are highly desirable
