We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Investment Associate to join our Real Estate Private Equity team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate investment, financial analysis, and portfolio management. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities, managing a portfolio of assets, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve investment goals.

This role will be highly suitable for individuals who are looking at building a brand new PERE portfolio, and supercharging their careers in a high-network environment collaborating with key movers of the statewide real estate developments. 


Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing & Evaluation
- Assist in identifying and sourcing potential real estate investment opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary due diligence, including financial analysis and market research.
- Support the development of financial models to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of investment opportunities.

Transaction Support
- Assist in the execution of investment transactions, including preparation of investment memos, coordination of due diligence activities, and documentation.
- Work with legal, financial, and operational teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.

Portfolio Management
- Support the management and optimization of a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
 -Monitor portfolio performance and prepare regular reports for senior management and investors.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for value enhancement within the portfolio.

Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct comprehensive market research to inform investment strategies and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Assist in developing and refining investment strategies based on market insights and company objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and advisors.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for investors and senior management.


Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
 -Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and transaction support.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
 -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
