With ambitious expansion plans underway, we're looking for a sharp, strategic, and hands-on Procurement Manager to lead our efforts from our Johor hub. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Develop and execute procurement strategies for our APAC expansion, focusing on digital infrastructure components, services, and construction.
- Negotiate Like a Pro: Drive tough but fair negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure optimal terms, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build & Grow: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, building a robust and resilient supply chain that supports our regional growth.
- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market analysis and research to stay ahead of trends, identify new technologies, and ensure competitive sourcing.
- Collaborate & Connect: Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to understand their needs and align procurement activities.
- Process Powerhouse: Implement and refine procurement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of operations and project delivery.
- Drive Value: Monitor supplier performance, manage contracts, and continually seek opportunities for cost savings and value creation.

Key Requirements: 
- Experience: 8+ years in a procurement role, with a significant portion in the digital infrastructure, construction and engineering sector
- Malaysian Expertise: Proven experience managing procurement within Malaysia, including an understanding of local markets and regulatory landscapes.
- Negotiation Wizardry: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You know how to get to a win-win!
- Strategic Brains: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Project Savvy: Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to data centers, fiber networks, or similar.
- Location: Willingness to be based in Johor, Malaysia, and travel across the APAC region as needed.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a big plus!
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. Additional APAC languages are highly desirable.
