We are currently partnering with a reputable construction firm in Singapore with a proven track record in delivering large-scale public housing projects. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to strengthen their team and ensure all workplace safety and health standards are met across project sites. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the safe and successful delivery of key developments while working closely with project teams and authorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with MOM regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including the Workplace Safety & Health Act, Environmental Protection laws, and relevant codes of practice.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of safety reports, incident/accident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with authorities such as MOM, SCDF, NEA and other stakeholders on safety-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and updated safety documentation, permits, and records for audits and inspections.
  • Support project teams in achieving safety KPIs and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) License registered with MOM.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a construction company.
  • Strong knowledge of local WSH legislation, ISO 45001, and safety management systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing safety at construction sites (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Good communication and leadership skills to engage workers, subcontractors, and management effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
