A leading real estate group is seeking a Centre Manager to drive performance, enhance tenant mix, and lead cross-functional teams across operations, leasing, marketing, and asset enhancement. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced retail property professional with a strong business acumen and proven track record in mall management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive asset KPIs across leasing, arrears, operations, marcom, and capex to meet financial and NPI targets.
- Strategize tenant mix and collaborate with central leasing to position the mall as a market leader.
- Lead asset planning, budgeting, and enhancement initiatives to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships and oversee credit control to ensure timely collections and arrears resolution.
- Oversee mall marketing efforts, optimizing shopper traffic and revenue while maintaining brand visibility.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day mall operations, covering security, facilities, housekeeping, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Leasing, Finance, Legal, etc.) to align strategies and optimize performance.
- Monitor market trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear accountability and succession planning.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Real Estate, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in retail mall management, including exposure to leasing, operations, marcom, and finance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven business acumen and a passion for the retail property sector.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong in reporting, financial analysis, and presentations.
- Able to multitask, make quick decisions, and lead under pressure.
