Our client well-established real estate investment and operating platform is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the operations and commercial performance of a mixed-use retail and lifestyle development.
The asset serves as a community-centric retail destination catering to residents, commuters, and the surrounding neighbourhood.
The Centre Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, tenant performance, customer engagement, and financial outcomes, ensuring the centre achieves sustainable growth and strong community positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day centre operations including facilities management, security, housekeeping, maintenance, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Tenant & Leasing Support: Work closely with leasing teams and tenants to optimise trade mix, maintain high occupancy, support tenant performance, and manage lease administration matters.
- Commercial & Financial Oversight: Manage annual budgets, service charge recovery, marketing funds, and operational expenditures; monitor KPIs and implement strategies to enhance asset performance.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Develop and execute marketing campaigns, events, and community initiatives to drive footfall, tenant sales, and customer loyalty.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with tenants, residents, vendors, managing agents, and relevant authorities to support the centre’s long-term positioning and reputation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in retail property management or shopping centre operations.
- Proven track record managing suburban or community-centric retail assets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing centre P&L and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing on-site teams and external service providers.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a dynamic, mixed-use environment.
