We are currently working with an Interior Design company that has a significant presence in Singapore to help bring in a Designer. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing innovative interior design solutions for a diverse clientele across various industries, including finance, logistics, technology, and energy. Your work will contribute to creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and aligned with our clients' brand identities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and present comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts that meet client objectives and project requirements.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final execution.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting solutions that align with the design concept and budget constraints.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and sustainability practices to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building regulations in Singapore.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
